BPC-157 accelerates healing of Achilles tendon in rats
This preclinical study investigated BPC-157 in a rat model of Achilles tendon transection. Treated animals showed improved tendon healing, increased collagen organization, and earlier recovery of mechanical strength compared to controls. The authors proposed that BPC-157 may promote healing through growth factor upregulation.
