Overview

LL-37 is the only human member of the cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides. It is a 37-residue helical peptide naturally produced by epithelial cells, neutrophils, NK cells, and monocytes. Beyond its antimicrobial function, research has revealed broad immunomodulatory, wound-healing, and angiogenic properties.

Mechanism of Action
